Vopak Exolum Houston (VEH) completed construction of its cryogenic storage infrastructure for ammonia in 2021. Additional dock access was expanded for barges and vessels, including channel access and berths for Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs). The construction of the pressurized storage bullets and associated assets were also completed in 2021.

Ammonia
Operations
Marine access for barges and up to VLGC-sized vessels. The facility is a new-build marine terminal, commissioned in 2021 with state-of-the-art technology, safety systems, and loading/unloading infrastructure, offering two 15,000-metric ton, cryogenic storage tanks for ammonia, and a dedicated ammonia pipeline.
Mixed LPG/Olefin
Operations
VEH provides five buried storage bullets dedicated to mixed LPG/Olefins service and a dedicated pipeline capable of receiving railcar deliveries.
Rail Loop and
Pipeline Access
The VEH Houston Ship Channel facility offers a rail loop on the property with access that is suitable for unit trains. Additional modal access is available via trucking to proximate interstate highways as well as pipeline connections for breakout or delivery. We are bordered by 91 pipeline ROWs.
